ok yesterday was prolly the most awesome day of my holidays...
oh who am I kidding?? it's THE most awesome day in my holiday HANDS DOWN...

haha... ok fine it didnt start out so great... woke up half an hr late coz it was raining heaviy and windy and oh so nice to sleep in... then after tt thought of doing my chores first and getting some breakfast before I leave... but unfortunately for me, i have an asshole of a brother who said tt I promised Mum to change all the bedsheets before i go out... EXCUSE- freaking-ME... i said no such thing.. i told mum and dad 2 days ahead of time that i will not be home yesterday THE WHOLE DAY and will be home very late..

so being very fucking pissed off, i just grabbed my stuff and went out...

ok... we are now entering the fun part of this post hahaa...


firstly, met izza at wlds mrt.. she didnt realise i was walking behind her the whole time..
then we met up wif liyana at admiralty mrt.. (i apologise for the angry pissed off sms i sent to u li!)
then we went to braddell mrt station.. got off.. wif all of us feeling effing hungry.. i saw mcdonalds across the street and was like "ooohhh McD's!!! can we have breakfast first plsplspslpsls...." and they were like nono.. lets just get to mediacorp first... so we flagged down a cabbie and zoomed off to mediacorp... it was in a weird kind of ulu place ya know?

then liyana went to get her "prize" while me and izza sat on the couches and watched tv's (there were four) izza watched the table tennis match between singapore and china and i was watching the news lol..
then we went out.. we wanted to take a pic wif the big mediacorp thingy... soo izza with my phone cam, me and liyana on either side of the sign thingy (it's cliche'd but we have it and you don't :P) and we were posing when suddenly this delivery truck.. slowed and stopped smack in between me and liyana.. effectively covering the mediacorp thingy... -.-''' wth lah..
so izza took it from the side.. she was laughing like mad at us the entire time..

then we grabbed a cab and headed down to arab street where me and liyana helped her to buy tt kain thingy she wanted.. oh yea.. en route while in the taxi.. we came across the Singapore Institute of Science (heard of it? nope? nope? neither have we!) it was actually this run down shophouse-ish building.. i wanted to take a picture of the place buuuutt... a white van suddenly came and blocked the view.. (izza mulut masin kan!)

after we bought the textile izza wanted, we went in search of food... we were walking and i saw this Javanese food coffeeshop.. the Minang House or something.. the food were nice..
then we walk2 to the bugis mrt station.. oh yea while we were eating.. this mediacorp van drove up and parked right in front of us.. the were filming along the tourist section of arab street.. dunno wat they were filming honestly..

then we went to orchard road woo... went into wisma atria and sat at starbucks for a looooong time.. then izza left and me and liyana sat there for at least an hr or so... got bored and cold.. so i suggested we watch a movie.. so we did.. went to cineleisure and watched Death Race... it was awesome!!!

then we went to city hall and met up with keegan.. and headed to Esplanade to wait for izza.. we sat at Glutton Bay to let me relax and cool down after the "conversation" with Diyanah and Suaidah on the phone.. then i called hakim to come down since we had an extra ticket for the fireworks festival..

izza found us and then we went to the Floating Platform, the one they used for National Day Parade.. then hakim came.. and we waited.. and waited.. for the fireworks... and it was great!! so beautiful and booming (it was relllly close.. we felt our seats vibrate with each explosion) and loud lol.. but totally worth it.. after tt the Cats in the Cradle were performing and we were just lounging and looking at the photos and vids of the fireworks.. when izza liyana and me saw this guy in front of us had a very clear and perfect video of the fireworks.. liyana asked if he could email us the video and he said sure, and they exchanged phone numbers.. (his wife/girlfriend i dunno which it was, was staring at liyana - i think she was like thinking WTF is this girl doing talking to my guy?!) hahaha..

anyway we walked back to city hall mrt station.. en route me and izza were walking with linked arms and going nutso.. keegan and hakim was like saying we seemed drunk and hakim asked me wat happened if he had actually spiked our drinks hahaha.. there was one part where we walked past this irish pub, and some lady was singing a Maroon 5 song, and me izza and hakim started singing very loudly and as off-key as possible.. some of the pub patrons were smiling at us as we walked on by... i think they think that we're drunk! hahaha it was fun and funny...

anyway then we all got on the train towards Marina Bay (bounced back) and went on home...

overall it was an awesome day!! :D:D:D
